About me:
Hello,
My name is Margarita Lipatova. I have been working in the field of migration since 2016 and in the counseling, language, and integration mediation sectors since 2022. I have worked in refugee camps, NGOs, grassroots initiatives and solidarity projects. I am trained in trauma informed communication. I stand against discrimination on the basis of nationality, skin color, religious beliefs, sexual orientation and gender identity.
As a mediator I have experience working in a variety of settings, including migrant welcome centres, employment agencies, social psychiatric services, hospitals, and schools. In my role as a counsellor, I have provided guidance and support to new residents of Germany, addressing a wide range of inquiries and needs. These include, but are not limited to: city registrations, foreign office applications, housing searches, and medical professional searches.
In the fall of 2025, I will graduate from the University of Leipzig with a degree in psychology. I intend to use it to further my career in psychosocial counselling.
I moved to Germany in 2012 and have lived and worked in Greece, Turkey and Lebanon. I have a very good understanding of what it means to settle down in a new environment and the challenges that come with it and I will be glad to be of help to you.
